Summer T-Storms

This posting from the daily picture of NOLA made me think about how much I miss sitting in the front porch swing of my grandparents house and listening to the rain on the tin roof. I also miss how fresh everything smells after it rains in the summer. It's one of the great smells of the South, along with fried okra!

Yeh--I miss thunder storms, too! No drama in the sky short of this crap we are dealing with right now. Choke, choke. And the smell of rain. We could really use some of that.
